1) Proven system programming skills in C, python. 

2) Proven UNIX system programming skills, Kernel development experience is desirable.

3) Proven OS internals including multithreading, RPC, socket programming.

4) Proven knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

5) Proven problem solving skills – Experience with any Source code control system and any Defect Tracking system.

6) Good understanding of Software development lifecycle and methodology (Waterfall or Agile).
