Group 'X' and Group 'Y' :-
Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from the designated Districts of State of Haryana to become airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades and Group ‘Y’ {For Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police)} Trades will be held at 1 Airmen Selection Center, 48 Mansfield Road, Ambala Cantt (Haryana) from 30 October 2014 to 06 November 2014 as per the Selection Programe given below.

Post Name : Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades- Pay Scale : Rs.24900/- (Per Month)
Post Name : Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade - Pay Scale : Rs.Rs. 20,500/- (Per Month)
Eligible Criteria :-
For Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades :- Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR Passed Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.
For Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade :- Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science with B Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government Recognized School/ College with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation as well as B Ed OR Passed MA English/ MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science/MCA with B. Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government recognized School/College.

Age Limit :-
For Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades :- Candidates should be born between 01 February 1995 to 30 June 1998 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrollment is 21 years.
For Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade :- 25 years and 28 years for graduate and post graduate candidates respectively.
Method of Selection : The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM. Candidates (from respective Districts covered below) reporting up to 10 AM on 27 October 2014 at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test. Written test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English.
Interview :- Candidates who have passed the written test and PFT will be interviewed. Working knowledge of English is a prerequisite.
Medical Examination :- Candidates who qualify in the interview will be medically examined in the month of January 2015. Medical Examination will be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue.
How to Apply :-
Candidates along with Original Educational Marks Sheets photocopies of Educational Certificates/ Marks Sheets can be permitted to appear in the Rally only on production of a certificate from College/School Principal certifying that Educational Certificates/Mark sheets are deposited with College/School.
